Matthew Fox
Principal / Solicitor / Director

Matt Fox is the Principal of Friedlieb Fox McLeod and strives to ensure that the firm provides efficient, practical and costs effective solutions for the firm’s clients.

Matt is a highly experienced property lawyer and enjoys assisting clients in all property related matters (complex and simple) with his main practice areas being:

* complex rural conveyancing and leasing
* residential and commercial conveyancing and leasing
* hotels, motels and liquor licencing;
* wind farm, solar, battery and renewable developments and leases
* water law
* Land and Environment Court appeals/matters
* wills and estates

Matt is currently the President of the South West Slopes Law Society and enjoys having the ability to provide feedback to the NSW Law Society on matters pertinent to local practitioners.

Linda Hansen
Senior Associate

Linda has practiced as a solicitor with Friedlieb Fox McLeod since 2006.  With over 25 years extensive experience Linda practices primarily in the Family Law Group specialising in property and parenting matters.  She is passionate about providing her clients with realistic and pragmatic advice to help them obtain the best possible outcome in a timely, cost effective and empathetic manner and to help clients navigate through what can be a complex and emotional period.  Her down to earth manner is appreciated by most of her clients.

 

Linda also works in Estate Planning and Administration, providing advice in family provision claims under the Succession Act and preparing Wills, Powers of Attorney and Enduring Guardian documents.

Linda is involved with the South West Slopes Law Society and is the current Vice President having also held the office of Treasurer.  She is also a member of the Family Law Pathways Network steering committee.

 

Golf has become a pre-occupation of hers and she hopes one day to improve.

Alison Seidel

Senior Associate

Alison Seidel, a Senior Associate at the firm, is a dynamic legal professional specialising in a range of key legal practice areas.


Alison’s expertise in family law is characterised by her commitment to safeguarding the rights and interests of her clients during an emotionally challenging time. Alison represents clients both in mediations and litigation in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. Alison provides straightforward, realistic and practical advice and aims to ease the stress in an often challenging time for clients.


Alison also practices in civil law, in both commercial disputes and consumer matters. Alison is a determined and experienced litigator and appears in numerous civil jurisdictions including District Court of NSW, Local Court of NSW and the New South Wales and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT). Alison has meticulous attention to detail and aims to resolve disputes in the most efficient and inexpensive way for her clients.


Alison also assists clients in Traffic matters before the Local Court and District Court of NSW, including drink and drug driving, speeding offences and matters prosecuted by the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator. Through her advocacy, Alison strives to secure favourable outcomes for her client ensuring their rights are protected and minimising the impact of such matters on their lives.

Peter Friedlieb

Consultant

Peter Friedlieb, a legal professional with over 30 years of experience, has transitioned to a consulting role, where he continues to offer his extensive legal services to clients in Wagga Wagga and beyond.



Peter’s primary focus areas encompass property and commercial law, specialising in conveyancing, leasing and mortgage transactions. His commitment to facilitating seamless property transactions and providing counsel in complex legal matters remains unwavering in his current role as a consultant.


Moreover, Peter's services extend to wills and estates, liquor licensing and business and company law, where he has provided insights and counsel for various individuals and enterprises.
